SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) -Weather worries in the ArkLaTex will remain few during the next ten days. It still appears that a major hurricane COULD develop in the Atlantic during the next few weeks. The big question remains: where will it go?
Tropical worries: No short-term changes since yesterday in the tropics. The National Hurricane Center continues to watch three tropical disturbances in the Atlantic. There is a small chance that a disturbance off the East Coast will develop into a depression. A second disturbance out in the Atlantic has the best chance of developing. Neither of these systems will likely threaten the US coast.
There is a rather strong tropical wave that is now coming off of Africa. Both the EURO and GFS show that this system could threaten the Gulf in a few weeks. A
