SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY, Pa. — State police still line Route 171 in Susquehanna County, as they continue to investigate the shooting spree that injured two state troopers and killed a woman. Neighbors are hearing it unfold.

"It was just five or six shots and that was it," said a neighbor.

Police say it was outside this home near Thompson Township. Where a 57-year-old Lori Wasko was shot and killed by her neighbor, now identified as 61-year-old Carmine Faino. He then went on to ambush two state troopers.

"I spoke with one trooper who said, as soon as they got out of the car. They had no idea where the rounds came from," said Colonel Christopher Paris, Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner.
