Marc-Andre ter Stegen has been reinstated as Barcelona's captain - hours after putting out a statement following his shock axing.
The Germany No.1 had been stripped of being the Spanish side's skipper to leave him facing an uncertain future in Catalonia.
The conflict originally stemmed over Ter Stegen announcing the length of his lay-off, a timeframe which wouldn’t allow the club to take his salary off LaLiga ’s books and allow them to register other players.
And after reportedly refusing to sign a document about his injury which meant it couldn't be sent to the league, Barca responded by removing him as captain.
But they have now stated the player has signed the relevant document, before insisting he is once again their captain .
