WATERBURY, Conn. — A federal grand jury in Bridgeport returned a seven-count indictment Thursday charging three young men from Waterbury with offenses connected to their alleged roles in shooting a city police detective and committing other felonies.
The three individuals facing charges are 21-year-old Arian “A” Perez-Feliciano, 19-year-old Alberto “NeNe” Rodriguez and 18-year-old Sydney “Syd” Reid, according to a report Friday from the Interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
All three defendants have been detained since being arrested on Feb. 13.
The indictment alleges that the three men conspired to steal firearms and marijuana and commit carjackings using stolen vehicles.
