Rob Gronkowski never seemed the type for a full-time desk job, but he’s found one that just might suit him.

Fox Sports announced Friday that the former Patriots tight end has been added to its “Fox NFL Sunday” studio program in a weekly role.

Gronkowski, 36, fills the spot vacated by the retirement of former Cowboys and Dolphins coach Jimmy Johnson in March.

Johnson, 82, had been with the show consecutively since 2002, as well as during the 1994 and ’95 seasons.

Gronkowski, who has made periodic appearances on the show since 2022, joins host Curt Menefee and holdover analysts Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, and Michael Strahan, on what is annually the highest-rated of the daytime Sunday NFL studio shows.
