LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Narcotics investigators in Lexington reportedly seized 620 pounds of marijuana and hemp flower on Wednesday, arresting four people across four local vape shops for alleged hemp trafficking.

The Lexington Police Department announced on Facebook that officials with the Narcotics Enforcement Unit found the drugs across four Lexington shops after securing search warrants.

Investigators also reportedly found $210,000 in cash during the Wednesday narcotics searches.

Department officials wrote that Ali Mazab, Sunil Bhattarai, Virginia Bates, and Sammy Whitaker Jr. were charged with trafficking in more than five pounds of hemp—first offense.

The drug investigation remains ongoing.
