(FOX40.COM) -- Evacuation orders are in place in Amador County as the Tiger Fire spreads. Video above: California fire affecting air quality
According to the Cal Fire Amador-El Dorado Unit, the Tiger Fire began after 1 p.m. with evacuation warnings and orders being put out around 1:35 p.m. on Friday.
The fire is 50 acres and is at 0% containment according to Cal Fire.
As of 2:15 p.m., the Red Cross has set up an evacuation shelter at the Amador Senior Center at 229 New York Ranch Road in Jackson.
