SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - This week, more than 70 sailors from the Navy Reserve Center Sioux Falls took time to explore Falls Park, learn about Sioux Falls, and talk to the public about the Navy.

It’s all part of Navy Week in South Dakota.

Today, the sailors visited the Veteran’s Community Project.

The neighborhood of tiny homes was built exclusively for veterans who are facing homelessness..

Today, the sailors rolled up their sleeves and pitched in to help build these homes.

Their tasks included framing, drywalling and installing cabinets.

Doing multiple jobs at once is something they are already familiar with.
