TRINITY COUNTY, Texas (KETK)-- The Trinity County Commissioners Court is expected to call for a bond election regarding the construction of a new Trinity County Jail. If the election is held, Trinity County Sheriff Woody Wallace is urging residents to make an informed decision about whether or not to support the construction of a new jail facility.

"As your sheriff, I am not asking you to vote for or against the jail," Wallace said. "I am simply asking that you get the facts and become as informed as possible before making your decision."
