HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Happy Friday! It’s certainly hot outside with temperatures in the 90’s and heat indices in the upper 90’s to mid 100’s. A heat advisory remains in effect until 8:00 PM CDT tonight. A cold front is currently moving across Nebraska which should bring cooler temperatures tonight. An isolated thunderstorm or two could develop along the cold front this evening, and could be on the stronger side. A better chance for showers and storms arrives overnight after the cold front passes. A few showers may linger into tomorrow morning before clearing out into the afternoon. Temperatures tomorrow morning begin in the low 60’s to the northwest, mid to upper 60’s for central Nebraska, and low 70’s to the southeast.
