HARVARD, Neb. (KSNB) - The University of Nebraska Extension hosted its annual South Central Agricultural Laboratory Field Day on Thursday. The event is designed to educate the public on new technology and innovations being used in their fields.

Professors from UNL were able to give insights to growers, based on research through interactive topics during the event. Growers were also able to hear about practical applications they could use in their own fields to them be more efficient.

One of the topics discussed was nitrogen management, which Research Assistant Professor of Nutrient Management and Digital Agriculture at UNL, Guillermo Balboa said is important in reducing pollution of groundwater.
