HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - There are a couple of spotty light showers this morning over Central Nebraska...in particular North Central Nebraska. I expect most of these to diminish. Some of the early clouds associated with some of the showers will eventually give way to more sun. The story of the day is the hot weather expected for most again. It will be a little cooler to the northwest as a cold front moves through the Panhandle and Sandhills. Highs will be in the 80s over northwest parts of the area. Most of us will push into the 90s this afternoon. Parts of far Southern Nebraska and Northern Kansas could be as warm as 100° to 105°.
