LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) — A fraternity once embroiled in a series of rape allegations and community upset is returning to UNL’s campus in 2026.
Phi Gamma Delta, also known as Fiji, announced its return to its house at 1425 R Street in early July. The reintegration comes after the fraternity was suspended from UNL’s campus for five years in 2021.
The fraternity was suspended after a 17-year-old girl alleged she had been sexually assaulted by a 19-year-old fraternity member in August 2021. Charges were not filed in the case, and an arrest was never made.
