Next Saturday at the University of Utah’s Spence Eccles Field House, attendees will be able to chase their Olympic dreams at USA Bobsled and Skeleton’s second annual “Slide to Glory” recruitment combine.

At the combine, attendees will be put through various physical tests including a 10-yard sprint, 40-yard sprint and broad jump. USA Bobsled and Skeleton’s goal is to identify one male and one female athlete that will be able to best translate their athleticism over to their sports.

The two top athletes will attend a rookie camp in Lake Placid, New York. Last year, Sadie McMullen and Hunter Powell, two former track and field athletes, were selected in Salt Lake City. Both McMullen and Powell went on to make their World Cup teams, and they have a shot at the upcoming Milan Olympics.
