ANACONDA, Mont. (Gray News) - A seven-day manhunt for a bar shooting suspect in Montana appears to have come to a close Friday.

Authorities say that Michael Brown, 45, was taken into custody Friday by law enforcement.

Deputies spent days traversing rugged terrain in Montana looking for the military veteran suspected of fatally shooting four people at The Owl Bar last week.

Authorities said Brown took off from the scene after the deadly shooting.

According to officials, Brown served in the Army as an armor crewman from 2001 to 2005 and in the Montana National Guard from 2006 to March 2009.

Montana authorities have not said what sparked the Aug. 1 shooting.

No further immediate details were released.
