FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. (WSIL) -- UPDATE: 4:14 p.m. -- Power has been restored to all Black River Electric Cooperative customers in Madison and Bollinger counties.

UPDATE: As of 3:54 p.m., there are 1,082 out of power in Madison County.

Bollinger County also has 440 Black River Electric Cooperative customers out of power, as of 3:54 p.m.

ORIGINAL: 3:23 p.m. -- Nearly 800 customers are out of power in Madison County on Friday.

Poweroutage.us states there are 780 Black River Electric Cooperative customers out of power as of 3:34 p.m. on August 8.

It is unknown what caused the outage at this time. News 3 has a call in with Black River Electric Cooperation for additional information.
