GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. ( WAFF ) - A man suspected of shooting two Atlanta transit police officers Thursday night was arrested Friday morning in Marshall County.

Christopher Daniels is accused of opening fire on officers who confronted him as he urinated in the train station on Thursday night.

One officer was shot in the arm, and the other was grazed in the knee.

WAFF 48 is told Daniels was caught near Highway 431 and Conner’s Island Parkway.

WAFF 48 has reached out to multiple agencies for more information.
