MOUNT AIRY, N.C. (WTVD) -- ABC11 is highlighting products that are North Carolina-made , with the spotlight on LazerEdge , a woodworking brand that began in an NC State dorm room.

Founder Will Pfitzner started the company in 2014 while studying biomedical engineering at NC State University in Raleigh. What began as a personal passion for woodworking soon became a business goal: to get his products sold in the NC State bookstore.

Today, LazerEdge has grown into a nationwide brand, taking over an industrial textile plant in Pfitzner's hometown of Mount Airy.
