FARGO — While not without a fight, Fargo Post 400's Central Plains Regional tournament came to an end Friday.

The Harrisburg (S.D.) Post 45 bats proved to be too much for the Stars to handle, belting three home runs and scoring every run via extra-base-hit en route to a 9-6 win in a Central Plains elimination game played at Starion Bank Field.

The win moved Harrisburg (23-21) into the championship semifinals at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Michael Oakland's second-inning solo home run was only the beginning of a big day for the Harrisburg catcher. He finished the contest 3-for-4 hitting with the HR, a double, three RBIs and three runs scored.
