DENVER (KDVR) — After a blazing hot week, the Denver weather forecast features a cool down for the weekend with a chance for some showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Highs on Saturday will be seasonally warm in the upper 80s. The area will cool into the upper 70s and low 80s around the area on Sunday. Both days will be breezy.

A few showers will be possible in the first part of the Friday overnight period, but most locations will stay dry. Temperatures will also not be as warm, thanks to a cold front bringing in cooler temperatures.
