SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — With prices of just about everything going up, one Siouxland non-profit is helping locals get their back-to-school clothes shopping done at an affordable price.
Goodwill stores are facing bigger crowds this time of year as parents make their way to purchase clothing for their kids.
Goodwill of the Great Plains operates 24 retail stores in Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Minnesota.
Officials said prices tend to stay affordable and consistent when shopping at thrift stores like Goodwill.
"Sometimes you go to some of those stores and the prices just keep going up and up for those new items, new pants, new shirts, and stuff. When you come to Goodwill, you can be confident that you're getting a pretty good deal. You know you're saving a lot of money," said Jacob
