Texas Democrats face second bomb threat at Illinois hotel

ST. CHARLES, Ill. – Authorities responded to a second bomb threat at the Q-Center Hotel and Convention Complex, where a group of Texas Democrats is staying. The threat was reported to police in Illinois this morning.

Local law enforcement agencies conducted a thorough search of the area but did not find any explosive devices. This incident follows a similar threat on Wednesday that led to the evacuation of more than 400 people.

It remains unclear if the Texas lawmakers were present at the facility when the second threat was made.
