Since its inception in 1946, Chick-fil-A has grown into one of the most popular chicken restaurant chains in the U.S., now operating more than 3,000 locations worldwide.

According to the American Customer Satisfaction Index 's 2025 Restaurant and Food Delivery Study, Chick-fil-A has once again secured the top spot in the quick-service restaurant industry for the 11th year in a row, with a steady ACSI score of 83.

But even industry leaders face challenges. In 2024, Chick-fil-A experienced its slowest U.S. sales growth in 20 years, increasing by just 5.4% due to growing competition from emerging chicken restaurant chains like Raising Cane's, Wingstop , and Bojangles .
