WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — David Perdue Elementary School has once again launched its annual donation drive for the Central Georgia Cancer Care Center, a heartfelt tradition honoring two students whose lives left an indelible impact on their school community.
“This drive is for everybody who’s going through cancer,” said Principal Andy Payne. “We started doing this in their memory and their honor because we never want their families or their friends to know that we have forgotten them. They’ll never be forgotten.”
Aiden Rozier and McKenzie Brooks, both beloved students at David Perdue Elementary, each lost their battles with cancer. Their enduring spirits and kindness continue to inspire teachers, students, and families alike.
