AUSTIN, Texas (KLTV) - The Texas Rangers have released the names of the victims lost in the July 4 floods in Kerrville.
Those confirmed deceased who were from the East Texas area are:
Cynthia Rushing, 53, of Sulphur Springs, TX
James Rushing, 64, of Sulphur Springs, TX
Carol Andrews, 65, of Athens, TX
“We are reminded once more of the lives forever changed by this tragedy. These names are not new to our community; they are our family, friends and neighbors, and they are forever engraved in our hearts,” Kerrville Mayor Joe Herring and Kerr County Judge Rob Kelly said in a joint statement.
Still missing are
63-year-old Jeffrey Ramsey, Lewisville
8-year-old Cecilia Steward, Austin
