SNOWSHOE, W.Va. (WBOY) — If you take a weekend trip down the Seneca Trail to Pocahontas County, you might see a different kind of traffic on the highway.

For the second year, West Virginia Hillfest has taken over Snowshoe Mountain Village by bringing racers from all over the country.

“(We’re) super happy to be with Snowshoe again,” West Virginia Hillfest founder and Screen Actors Guild stunt driver Aaron Bambach said. “We got 200 participants, probably double the spectator count this year, and [we’re] just looking forward to a good, long relationship with Snowshoe and continuing to grow this event. It's a beautiful car culture event.”

The main event that brings these cars up the mountain is to see how quickly they can do so, a traditional hill climb race.
