MURPHYSBORO — Jackson County Animal & Rabies Control is asking for the public’s assistance in addressing stray animals within the county. If you see a loose dog or cat, they ask that you do not pick it up. Instead, follow these direcions:

Leave the animal where it is

Photograph it

Report it to animal control
