Just one day after running back CJ Hester left the program, the Michigan Wolverines have found the replacement for his spot on the team.
Former Columbia linebacker Rocco Milia has signed with the Wolverines ahead of the 2025 season. He already has a profile on the university’s athletics website.
A Bloomfield, Michigan native and a University of Michigan legacy — his father and grandfather played at Michigan in the 1990s — Milia has been in college since 2021, spending all four seasons at Columbia. The 6-foot-2, 225-pounder has played in 28 games across four seasons. This past year, he compiled 49 tackles, four tackles for loss and three pass breakups in seven games. His 2023 season was even better, as he racked up 54 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, eight pass breakups, three interceptions
