Aaron Judge continues to work toward his return to the outfield.

Judge was set to throw again on Friday, two days after the Yankees captain played catch for the first time since he was diagnosed with a flexor strain in his right elbow.

“The plan is for him to repeat what he did Wednesday,” manager Aaron Boone said before Friday’s series opener against the Houston Astros in the Bronx. “He got out to 90 feet — I think [he] was throwing on a line — so I think the plan is to repeat that today and see how it [goes].”

Judge, 33, was not seen throwing pregame Friday, but he did shag fly balls in right field.

The reigning American League MVP has not played the outfield since July 25, three days after he suffered the injury on a throw in Toronto.
