It’s gameday yet again. And while the preseason never quite lives up to the real thing, any time there’s Detroit Lions football on the television, it is a good day.

This week, we get Friday night lights, as the Lions face off against the Atlanta Falcons in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Georgia. It’ll be their final road game in the preseason, as they come back home for both preseason games and some joint practices with the Miami Dolphins and Houston Texans starting next week.

But on Friday night, it’s all about looking better than last week. It was a rough go against the Los Angeles Chargers, but the Lions didn’t do themselves any favors with five turnovers. Just limiting those against the Falcons likely makes Detroit look a lot better. Eyes will be on third-year quarterback Hendon Hooker
