LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Organizers for the Bourbon and Beyond and Louder than Life festivals announced major changes they said will make the experience more enjoyable for fans.

Danny Wimmer Presents, the group in charge of organizing the festivals, has redesigned the site near the Kentucky Exposition Center. Renderings show added stages, another festival entrance to get people in quicker, shade trees and turf grass.

“It really allows us to grow the footprint,” Doris Sims, Senior Vice President of Business Development for Danny Wimmer Presents, pointed out. “The stages, the way they’re placed, will allow us to have more of a wide area for our audience to congregate instead of a long and narrow.”
