LAND O’ LAKES, Fla. – The Pasco Sheriff’s Office announced today the arrest of a 17-year-old male student from Land O’ Lakes High School on charges of making written threats to kill. The arrest was made following an investigation into threats that were not made on school property and posed no immediate danger to the campus.

According to a statement released by the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, detectives were able to identify and apprehend the student after he allegedly made threats of violence in writing. The Sheriff’s Office was quick to assure the community that there was no public safety threat to the high school.
