CLARK'S FERRY, Pa. (WHTM) -- PennDOT is planning a project to replace the Clark's Ferry Bridge and make safety improvements in the area. Plans are on display for the next month and they're seeking public comments.
The plans can be viewed here. It's the second time the plans have been displayed and includes revisions from prior public comments.
PennDOT said the project is expected to begin construction in 2028 and take about six years to complete. It is currently in the design phase.
Changes made to address comments include a frontage road redesign and the rehabilitation of the Route 849 bridge over the Juniata River.
PennDOT plans to rehabilitate and repair the Clark's Ferry Bridge, install a median on Route 22/322, add a westbound frontage lane and more.
