A New Orleans woman who moved back to the city six months after Hurricane Katrina is transforming the city through technology.
Sabrina Short is connecting young job-seekers with Fortune 500 recruiters through Black Tech NOLA, a mixer aimed at bridging untapped networks with companies building inclusive teams. Advertisement
"I didn't feel like I could stand by and watch from another area of the country while my city came back together," Short said.
Short and her family focused on helping people rebuild their homes and communities.
"Helping people get back into their homes and saving our communities from being green spaces," said Short.
