BULLHEAD CITY — The Bullhead City Council approved more than $2.4 million in spending — most of it already budgeted — but not without application of a several conditions, a smattering of opposition and heart-felt discussion that led to a few tears being shed.
The council voted 7-0 to approve a budgeted $127,000 contribution to help support operation of the Legacy Foundation Christine Stamper Center for Help & Hope, a facility that provides shelter, food and other services to homeless individuals and families in the community. But they did so only after reporting requirements were added to the previous agreement. ×
