BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- More charges have been brought against a California City man awaiting trial in a deadly alleged drunken driving crash.
Sean Pierre Pantoja was arrested in March on allegations he abused a French bulldog and made threats against his wife -- including threatening to kill her if she leaves him.
Some threats were made in the presence of their two underage children, according to California City police reports filed in Superior Court.
Pantoja, who was ordered in 2023 to surrender all firearms following his arrest in the deadly crash, had several guns -- including an AR-style rifle -- at home, according to the documents.
Prosecutors filed nine felony counts, including animal cruelty, making criminal threats and multiple counts of purchasing a gun in violation of
