BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The family of the woman found dead after a fire in Oildale on Friday says she was murdered -- and she's not the first to die in a mysterious fire at the same trailer park.

It was a scene of ash and flame at around 2 a.m. Friday. After the chaos had dwindled, a search inside revealed a body, belonging to, friends and family have confirmed, 63-year-old Roxanne Kelly. Her family says they will remember her as a firecracker, but also a kind soul.

"She had a heart of gold. She was like a pitbull, she was gentle as a lamb and bold as a lion," said Roxanne's sister, Sharon McGowen. "She would stand up for anyone or anything, but really gentle and giving and caring."
