BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Mothers Against Gang Violence announced a free backpack giveaway event for students on Saturday.

MAGV’s fifth annual backpack giveaway is set to begin at 11 a.m. and last until 2 p.m. at 1007 East Brundage Ln., according to organizers.

Children are invited to attend the giveaway with their parents or guardians.
