CATAHOULA PARISH, La. (KNOE) - The Catahoula Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested a suspect accused of sexual battery against a child.

Bobby Earls was arrested at around 4 p.m. on August 8. He is accused of sexual battery against a child under 12.

”Crimes against children are among the most unforgivable acts in our society,” Catahoula Parish Sheriff Toney Edwards said. “Let me be clear — in Catahoula Parish, we will use every resource at our disposal to investigate, and arrest, anyone who harms a child.”

Earls is being held without bond pending a court hearing.
