ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A project two decades in the making is finally breaking ground in Albuquerque, aiming to support families who need to stay close to one of New Mexico’s largest hospitals. A new Residence Inn by Marriott and a local food hall are set to rise in the heart of the city, across from Presbyterian Hospital.
Construction will soon begin on a long-vacant lot across from the hospital on Central. The site has been plagued for years by outdated infrastructure and demolition challenges.

The upcoming Residence Inn will feature 126 extended-stay suites d
