GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) - Glasgow High School released its new personal device policy, which will limit the use of all devices during the school day.
Cell phones, smart watches, and personal laptops are on the list of items that students will no longer have access to during the school day.
According to the school, the policy change comes from a bill recently passed at the state level.
“House Bill 208 was one that limited access to personal devices during instructional time in the school day. The second part of that, though, is the one that I think is causing a little bit of question or leading to some questions because it also states that we are to limit access to social media during the day,” said GHS principal, Joey Norman.
