ATLANTA -- The Detroit Lions were already short-handed at offensive tackle entering their preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons on Friday night.

Dan Skipper (ankle) and Jamarco Jones (ankle) are dealing with injuries suffered in the last week. Taylor Decker (shoulder) continue to work back from offseason surgery, and wasn’t going to play in the preseason anyway.

Now, it appears that depth has taken another hit. Justin Herron suffered a pre-game injury during warmups. The Associated Press captured a photo of the offensive tackle being attended to on the field. Team officials confirmed he suffered an injury but did not have any other details.
