Two of Triton’s best athletes from this past school year aren’t ready to say goodbye to their competitive running careers quite yet.

Jack Lyman , who was both a Daily News Indoor and Outdoor Track All-Star this year, will continue his track career at Merrimack College at the Division I level. During this past winter season, he broke the school record in the 600 (1:24.84) while also putting up the area’s fastest time in the 300 (36.42). Then in the spring, he was crowned the Division 5 State Champion with the 4x400 relay team (3:30.61), and also took fourth in the 400 (50.00) and 11th in the 200 (22.90) at the State Meet.
