TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A YouTuber may be facing an assault charge following an incident in Sahuarita.
Sahuarita Town Manager Shane Dille issued a news release Friday about an incident on Thursday.
Dille said 41-year-old James Springer, also known as James Freeman , was arrested on suspicion of assault.
Dille said Springer and his camera crew tried to get into a secured room at the Sahuarita Police Department.
Freeman’s response video can be watched below. 13 News has asked the town of Sahurita for any security or body camera video of the incident.
Springer allegedly also tried to prevent a door from being closed, so Police Chief John Noland and two other uniformed officers restrained Springer.
The SPD has asked the Marana Police Department to review the arrest and charging
