The number of unpaid tickets throughout the city have been a source of concern for the city's quality of life and revenue.

Springfield leaders are saying enough is enough as people disregard their unpaid ordinance tickets and hinder the city's quality of life. "Whether it is overgrown grass, trash, you know, people, people even drinking on the street. It's a number of issues, whether issues. So people are really concerned. The problem is that you do give a ticket, and you know what they do, they rip it," said Springfield City Councilor Ward 6, Victor Davila.
