MADISON, Wis. -- Wisconsin football is almost two weeks into fall camp, which means they're almost ready to pack up and leave Platteville.

For Luke Fickell, there is tremendous value in going away from Madison for fall camp -- especially this season.

"The ability for those guys to not have any place to go and hang around each other, and you develop some things, and we did okay in the first two years," Fickell said. "I think that I've seen more from this group, and I'll be honest with you, in the last few days, of just recognizing, taking advantage of this time where they are, I just feel like we're in a really good place and just got to keep rolling."
