Detroit Lions cornerback Morice Norris was taken away in an ambulance after suffering an apparent neck injury in Friday night’s preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons , prompting officials to suspend the game.

On the opening play of the fourth quarter, Morice Norris suffered a serious-looking injury while trying to tackle Nathan Carter on a running play. Noticing that he was seriously injured and not getting up, trainers moved quickly to help Norris.
