NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - When 28-year-old Austin Drummond was arrested for the murders of four people in West Tennessee, he was no stranger to the justice system.

Last September, Drummond finished a 10-year prison sentence for a 2013 armed robbery he committed at just 16 years old. But during his time behind bars, Drummond allegedly committed more crimes that he is still facing charges for, including several related to drugs, possession of a handgun and attempted first-degree murder of another inmate.

Drummond was due back in court to face those charges this month, but at the time of the quadruple murders, he was out on a $30,000 bond.
