JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — A 28-year-old Jamestown woman is facing multiple charges, including felony DWI under Leandra’s Law, after police say she was caught driving intoxicated with a child in her vehicle early Friday morning.

The Jamestown Police Department, in a statement, said officers spotted a black sedan leaving the area of a business on the city’s south side at a high rate of speed around 2:54 a.m. Friday. The vehicle struck a curb before officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Hazeltine Avenue and Myrtle Street.

Police identified the driver as Jastic M. Anzalone, who had a child inside the car at the time. An investigation determined that Anzalone was driving while intoxicated, police said.
