MILWAUKEE -- The largest crowd of the season at American Family Field saw everything continue to go right for Brandon Woodruff and the Brewers.

They’re 6-0 with Woodruff on the mound this season after the veteran right-hander pitched into the seventh inning for the first time since coming off a multiyear stint on the injured list in the Brewers’ 3-2 win over the Mets in front of 43,469 fans on Friday.

The game ended with the Brewers’ defensive play of the year, a one-hop strike from center fielder Blake Perkins to catcher William Contreras to retire Starling Marte to win it.
